7 Summits for the Aguilar Family of 7

In the early morning hours of January 5, 2015 a house fire occurred in the area of 64th Avenue and Indian School. Inside the home at the time was a family of seven. Six of the family members were brought to the Arizona Burn Center at Maricopa Integrated Health System where they are currently being treated. The family's home is a total loss. Phoenix Fire says the cause of the fire is under investigation

A local group of concerned citizens, made up of dedicated athletes and first responders, felt called to do something meaningful for the Aguilar family. This spring, the group of seven teams will compete in a hiking challenge, racing to summit Phoenix's seven peaks, all to raise money for the Aguilars,

Maricopa Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization supporting Maricopa Integrated Health System, including the Arizona Burn Center where the Aguilar family is being treated. The Arizona Burn Center is the only nationally verified burn center in Arizona and serves as a regional center for New Mexico, California and Northern Mexico. Currently, the experienced staff at the Arizona Burn Center treat over 900 inpatients, 3500 outpatients and 1500 emergency room patients annually, making it the second busiest burn center in the nation.
