Arizona Burn Center Survivor Needs Your Help

Sep 4, 2013

Earlier this year in March, Scottsdale Police Officer Patrick Hinsberg risked his own life to pull Hartley Johnson from his burning truck after it crashed on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale. Hartley, a Payson resident, was transported to the Arizona Burn Center where he survived serious injuries. Hartley's fiancée Rena, who was ejected from the truck, was treated at another local hospital.

Hartley and Rena have since married, but they need your help. The Johnsons did not have medical insurance at the time of the accident and haven't had any success securing coverage since. As a result of his injuries, Hartley lost both legs, his job, and subsequently his home. He and Rena are living with his parents. Hartley needs prosthetic legs to be mobile and self sufficient, but he can't afford them.

We need your help. Please donate now to help purchase new prosthetic legs for Hartley Johnson.
