Legacy Circle Night of Heroes 2019

Thanks to everyone who joined us and generously supported
the Legacy Circle Night of Heroes!

The inspiring evening celebrated the heroes among us serving the health care needs of our community. It was a privilege to share Derek Boehm’s incredible story of survival and resilience and to celebrate the ripple effect it has created for so many.

This year’s honoree is Derek Boehm, RN, a military veteran, former firefighter, paramedic and flight paramedic, whose life was changed forever in a fatal helicopter crash during a routine flight in the Superstition Mountains.

The sole survivor, Boehm spent hours alone in the cold with life-threatening injuries hoping to be found.

Following a long recovery, Derek completed his training to become a registered nurse, and now works alongside the same doctors and nurses who saved his life.

Special thanks to our amazing sponsors. Without your support, this event, and our ability to make an impact for MIHS programs and patients, would not be possible! For more on our heroes, sponsors and supporters, we invite you to enjoy the online program.

We hope you had as much fun as we did, and take pride in knowing you were a part of transforming care to improve community health!
